If you have been following along on Instagram, you’ll know that I was nominated for Best Interior Blogger in the House and Home awards. I was truly shocked when I found out and have been bursting with excitement ever since! The awards were on last Wednesday in Dublin and although I didn’t win, I loved every minute!
Below is the list of the other nine nominees in our category. Congratulations to Old Victorian New, who was the winner! He received a beautiful slate award made by Slated. (By pure coincidence, I actually featured them last week in my top ten small businesses article!) House and Home have a brief synopsis here on all these bloggers, me included…whoop whoop!
The awards were held in the fabulous Alex Hotel. I dragged my gorgeous sister with me (she’s in the red dress) and we had a great time meeting everyone in ‘real-life’! It felt a little surreal to speak to people and then find out they were followers. Here we are waiting for the winner of my category to be called out!
Oh and I can’t forget the amazing goodie bags we received on the night. Six of the most beautiful prints from Desenio, Fleetwood paint sample pots, colour cards, vouchers for Crown paint and Mullan Lighting and lots more.
Thank you so much to everyone who nominated me. Maintaining a website and an Instagram account takes a lot of hard work and time. But being nominated for something like this makes it all worthwhile!! Fingers crossed I’ll be back again next year!
