Ooohh, I just love this time of year! Coming home to colourful leaves gathered at our new and improved front door is cheering me up no end. And isn’t this weather is the perfect excuse to throw on a fire and cosy up? I’ve moved away from flowers and have brought greenery in from the garden instead, like you can see above. Even putting a pile of apples in a wooden bowl is making me feel autumnal! (Yes, I know it’s a bushel of apples really…but who actually says that?! 🙂
So if you’re feeling the same and want to add a little autumnal feel to your home, I’ve gathered together a few bits for you to fall in love with. Seriously, I want it all!!!!
So here’s the first half…
- I never knew how much I needed an umbrella stand until now!
- Nothing screams autumnal more than a checked fabric cushion in these colours and I love that extra button detail.
- A neutral artwork that will work anywhere. Now that the summer is over it’s time to ditch the florals and stick with greenery!
- Autumn begins when I switch from floral to woody scents and this cedar clove & ambergris scented candle smells amazing!
- It’s time for the red wine glasses. No explanation needed.
- Isn’t it just the most beautiful throw?! I wanna curl up in it right now!
- Taking the log basket out this year has reminded me that we really need a new one. I have my eye on this baby!
- So the red wine is poured, fire sorted and now all you need is a cheeseboard. I’m sure it’ll taste all the better served on this beaut!

And the second half is just as good…

- How beautiful is this fireside set? It’s a piece of artwork on it’s own!
- This crowd are famous for their beautiful throws and blankets. This classic pattern does not disappoint!
- Even empty, wooden bowls always look good! This Irish company has lots of gorgeous bits to choose from!
- Halloween, but not in your face! My kinda candle!
- These serving plates are too good for trick ‘r treaters!! 😉
