MY TOP DIGITAL ARTWORK FOR A BUDGET GALLERY WALL

A gallery wall with digital prints as some of the artwork. Framed pictures are sitting on a picture ledge above a piano.

A few months ago, I wanted to create a really nice gallery wall, above the piano, while trying to stay within a small budget. Artwork really finishes off a room and this corner definitely needed some! One way I was able to the keep spending down was to print off some digital art. The quality was amazing and the choice online is huge. For under five euro, I was able to download and print off the beautiful meadow scene you can see above. The only hard part is trying to decide which artwork to buy! So I have gathered my favourite ones here…

Sometimes it’s hard to know how to group pictures together so they look really well. Look for artworks with similar colours or themes. There are some sellers online that have already grouped artwork into different collections that look great together, like you see below.

  1. Vintage Lake House Gallery Wall Set. £7.31. NorthPrints This is the shop I bought my print from. Such great quality!
  2. Tunnocks Prints. £15.68. NatDrawPics. This shop hasn’t got a lot of sales, but once I saw this set, I knew it had to be added to the list here!
  3. Neutral French Country Gallery Set. £10.44. Northprints

Top Tips Buying Digital Artwork

  • Choose and print off your artwork, before buying the frame! Your local printshop might not print in a big selection of sizes and it can be much more expensive to print custom sizes.
  • Print on matt paper. Always.
  • If you have found a piece of art that is not in the size you wanted, check with the buyer in case they can resize it for you. Sometimes they will allow one resize free of charge.
  • Look around for good prices on printing, especially if you are printing in a large size. I printed off mine in Harvey Normans, as if it was a photograph.

Other ways to create artwork on a budget

I did this by buying posters, printing photographs I had taken on my phone, gathering artwork from around the house and printing digital artwork. You could also take postcards, or pretty pages from books and frame them too!
