MY FAVOURITE THINGS CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 2021

A neon tube clock on a wooden stand. A round wooden board behind with with a blue jug and faux greenery.

It’s almost December which means it’s time to be getting the presents sorted! This year, I’ve put together 10 of my favourite things to make the Christmas Gift Guide 2021. We either own them or have gifted them so I can recommend each one wholeheartedly!

1. Brilliant Maps

Leave this book on your coffee table and every time you pick it up, you’ll find out something else fascinating. Each page is a map showing the most random of facts, like where you would actually have to be to dig to China or what countries have no Mc Donald’s. We had it for Christmas last year and it was always in someone’s hand!

2. Custom photo calendar

I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom a few years ago and she absolutely loved it! It’s a tear-away calender and each day has a photo that you have chosen and uploaded. You can upload a different photo for each day or if that’s a bit much for you, photos can be duplicated. I had a bit of fun with it and tried to match dates with photos. e.g. Halloween photos when we were kids to Oct 31st, any birthdays or anniversary dates had a picture of those people etc. It was a good bit of work, but well worth it. The quality of each daily photo was so good that my mum kept all 365 of them and put them in a photo album of their own! The company is based in the US. They do ship internationally, but they closing date for that is Dec 7th, so get moving!

3. Ugg Insoles

Just imagine these bad boys in your boots when it’s freezing outside! Enough said. You’ll want to buy them for yourself too!

4. Electric Lighter

No more messing about with 14 different matches trying to get everything lit. This little rechargeable electric lighter is the perfect present for a candle lover!

5. Shaving Apron

I bought this for Trevor’s birthday this year and he’s a big fan. Makes clean up after shaving so much easier!

6. Wild Deodorant

I’ve been using this natural deodorant for about a year and I love it! The scents that come with it are gorgeous and you feel like your single-handedly saving the environment every time you use it! It has over 6,000 5star reviews so you won’t go wrong. You can buy a bundle which includes the case and 3 refills. Would be a fab present!

7. Garmin Vivomove Watch

A smartwatch that doesn’t look like a smart watch! I have been wearing this watch for over a year and it’s been my favourite watch ever! It’s an analogue watch but when you double tap on the screen, the hands of the clock move to the side and the normal sports stats are visible. Perfect for someone like me who has a casual interest in steps, calories etc. but isn’t a fan of the sports watch look. This is the best price I’ve found!

8. Joshua Weissman Cookbook

As you might know, Trevor has a big interest in baking/cooking. He had been a fan of this fellow on YouTube for a long time and when he brought out a cookbook Trevor bought it. Everything he has made from it has been delish!!! The recipes are a good mixture of both baking and cooking.

9. World Scratch Map

Remember my tutorial for building a simple frame for this map? Well ever since it’s been on the wall, everyone that has visited has commented on it. It’s been the start of some great conversations in the dining room and we love scratching off a new country every time we go somewhere new! It’s making me really want to go to Russia!!! 🙂

10. Neon Tube Clock

Trevor bought this as my Christmas present last year and I absolutely love it!!!! I had seen it on a TV programme at some stage, gushed over it and now it sits on our kitchen counter! It’s pricey for a little clock, but it’s so unusual and well made, I think it’s well worth it!
