Last week I shared the reveal of my brother Billy’s living room. If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that keeping to a tight budget was a big part of this makeover. So, we made this into a quick and simple project, with paint probably making the biggest impact! I thought it was important to share the budget breakdown to give you an idea of what a room might cost to makeover. Of course, sky’s the limit though! And he was lucky as a few of the big expense items were given to him by friends and family.
An empty space is expensive to fill, especially when you want it to look cosy looking. And while cushions, vases and other decorative items might not be essential, they make it so homely. So actually, to me, they are essential! 😂 The good news is that there are lots of places to buy living room budget friendly decor, like Ikea, Jysk, Sostrene Grene, the homeware section in Penny’s, etc. I think you’ll see, we got some great deals!
