20 OF MY TOP IKEA FINDS!

The main front door of the Ikea in Dublin.

You might have seen on my stories that I went to Ikea recently and dragged along my brother for his first ever trip there! Going to Ikea and spending someone else’s money is the best!!!😂In all seriousness though, we did have a really productive trip – he decided to buy a Pax wardrobe and even got it fully designed, ready to order! I remember when getting our own Pax, it was so helpful to have an Ikea designer double check everything. They can even tell you if a shelf is in the way of a hinge etc. I highly recommend using their service – it’s free and can even be done online now!

While strolling around, I took note of anything that caught my eye. Shock of shocks…there was actually a ton of things I loved, so I’ve broken my Ikea finds down into sections to make things easier!

Vases and Plant Pots

A selection of vases and plant pots from Ikea.

Flowers in the brown and the green Konstfull, as well as the Tonsatta vases all looked so pretty! They were all a great price too, ranging between €15 and €25.

The Olivblad is such good value, starting at only €10 for the small. These look so well when you have a group of three at varying heights. The €5 Nyphon pot goes with it perfectly, creating a modern looking group!

The Tolkning is a little pricer at €50, but well worth it. It’s study, big and the rattan allows you to add some natural material to your home – always a plus!

Seating

A selection of seating from Ikea.

The Esseboda was surprisingly comfortable when we sat down. It comes in a few different colours and you can change the legs too. €850 for the two seater.

The Lacko is currently on sale for €74.25 if you have an Ikea family card. (All outdoor furniture has 25% off with a family card right now, so it’s well worth a look!)

The Strandmon was so comfortable to sit on, I hardly wanted to move! The dark brown leather so soft to the touch. €399.

€15 for the Adde chair is an absolute bargain! Love the design – they looked way more expensive! They were comfortable to sit on and they stack, so really handy if you’re looking for some extra seating or budget dining chairs!

The beige/brown fabric pattern of the Soderhamn is one of the nicest fabrics in Ikea. So elegant and soft to the touch, plus it looks like it could hold stains well. €1559 for this 4seater with chaise longue.

Lighting and Food Serving

A selection of lighting and food storage products from Ikea.

Billy bought the glass Fado lamp and I know it’s going to look so good in his living room! Great price for €25 – one of my top Ikea finds!

He also grabbed the Molnart lightbulb for €13. It’s low lumen so the light is very dim, making it ideal for the glass lamp. The shape of the LED filament looks so cool when lit too!

The Kappeland for €45 is a new product in Ikea. It’s large, so great for a statement piece in the middle of your ceiling, plus because it’s rattan it will leave shadows on the wall when lit – people either hate that or love it! Which are you?

The Fullspackad serving tray caught my eye – love the modern shape and it’s only €15.

Ikea 365+ is a new range that’s in Ikea that mixes different sized glass food containers with silicone lids. I bought the lids and love them for when you want to avoid using clingfilm. The lid will ‘sunction’ to any container – glass or plastic- as long as the lid is big enough! The lids don’t hold on well enough to bring on the move (we tried for a picnic and it wasn’t great), but perfect for in your pantry or fridge!

Soft Furnishings

A selection of soft furnishings from ikea.

The Gunnemor throw is so soft to the touch and an absolute steal at €7! The off-white colour would go in almost any room! Handy to have a few around when it gets chilly on a summer’s evening!

The velvet Sanela curtains are so luxe and I love that they are room-darkening. Comes in a choice of colours. €69.

The Akerfibbla duvet cover is a really soft cotton and I love the chequered pattern! Comes in green and white. Starting at €40.

I loved the pattern on the Sandtrav cushion the moment I spotted it! It comes in a few colours, but I think I love the red the most – which is kinda unusual for me! It’s €17, including the filler.

Tell me, what are your favourite Ikea finds???
